How We Document Lots

This page explains what documentation Avenio Bio keeps for each lot of research-use-only peptide it supplies, what our published certificates of analysis report, and how you can verify a certificate yourself. All products are for laboratory research use only — not for human or veterinary use.

Lot numbers

Every vial is labelled with the compound name, its lot number and a QR code. The lot number on the label is the key to that lot’s documentation: it appears on the certificate of analysis, in the COA Library, and in the Current Batch box on the product page.

Where our peptides come from

Avenio Bio does not synthesize peptides in-house. Compounds are sourced from third-party peptide manufacturers, assigned a lot number when received, and stored and handled under controlled conditions until they ship. Lyophilized vials are kept cold and protected from light.

What a published certificate reports

Certificates of analysis are issued by an independent laboratory (currently Freedom Diagnostics). Each certificate lists:

• Identity (LC-MS) — whether the measured mass matches the expected compound
• Purity (HPLC-UV) — the percentage of the peptide peak in the chromatogram
• Net content — the measured amount of peptide in the vial, in milligrams
• Appearance — e.g. white lyophilized powder
• Accession number and search code, received and reported dates, and the laboratory’s contact details

Method as stated on the reports: HPLC with UV detection coupled with mass spectrometry (LC-MS). Current certificates cover identity, purity and net content; they do not include sterility or endotoxin testing.

How to verify a certificate

• Match the lot number printed on the vial label to the certificate in the COA Library.
• Note the accession number (or search code) on the certificate.
• Contact the laboratory with that number — the certificate lists its website and email — to confirm the report is genuine.
• Questions about any lot can also be sent to info@aveniobio.com.

What “COA pending” means

A product marked COA pending is from a lot for which we do not yet hold an independent test report. We do not publish a purity figure for such lots, and the product page shows the current documentation status. The COA Library is updated as reports are received.

What we do not claim

We make no statements about how any compound performs outside laboratory research, and we do not describe products with figures we cannot document. Statements on this website have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
