This page explains who may order from Avenio Bio, what our products are and are not, what we document for every lot, and the rules that apply to our content and partners. It is a plain-language summary; the Research Use Only Disclaimer and the Terms & Conditions are the governing documents.

What they are
- Synthetic peptides and laboratory reagents supplied for laboratory research purposes only.
- Lyophilized, lot-numbered vials with the compound name, amount, lot number, manufacture and expiry dates, and the statement For Research Use Only on the label.
- Sourced from third-party peptide manufacturers, assigned a lot number on receipt, and stored under controlled conditions until they ship.
What they are not
- Not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, foods or medical devices.
- Not evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
- Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
- Not for human or veterinary use, and not for any consumer, cosmetic, dietary or diagnostic purpose.

2. Who may order
Age and qualification
You must be at least 21 years of age and a qualified researcher, laboratory professional, or representative of a research-affiliated institution. The site asks you to confirm this before you enter, and again at checkout.
The checkout acknowledgement
Every order requires an active acknowledgement that the products are being purchased for laboratory research and will not be used on humans or animals. That acknowledgement is stored with the order.
Verification and refusal
We may ask for verification, such as an institution or laboratory address, before accepting an order. We may refuse, cancel or limit any order at our discretion, including any order that indicates personal use or that comes from a region we do not ship to.
3. What we do not do
These limits apply to our website, our product pages, our emails, our support replies and every partner who represents us.
- We do not provide dosing, administration or usage guidance of any kind.
- We do not make statements about effects, benefits or outcomes in people or animals, and we do not publish testimonials or before-and-after material.
- We do not describe products with health-outcome, cosmetic or disease language, and we do not compare them to prescription medicines.
- We do not publish a purity figure for a lot we cannot document with an independent test report.
- We do not sell or ship outside the United States, and we do not accept orders through freight forwarders.
- We do not process an order that appears to be intended for personal use.
If you email us a question that falls under any of these points, we will reply with a link to this page rather than an answer. That is not us being unhelpful; it is the line that keeps the products research-use-only.
4. Labels and lot documentation
What the label carries
- Compound name and amount per vial.
- Lot number, manufacture date and expiry date.
- Lyophilized powder designation and the Research Use Only statement.
- aveniobio.com, so the lot can be looked up in the COA Library.
What a published certificate reports
- Identity by LC-MS, purity by HPLC-UV and net content in milligrams, issued by an independent laboratory.
- The lot number, the laboratory’s accession number and its contact details, so any certificate can be verified with the laboratory directly.
- Current certificates do not include sterility or endotoxin testing.
A product marked COA pending comes from a lot for which we do not yet hold an independent report. We do not publish a purity figure for such lots; the product page shows the current documentation status and the COA Library is updated as reports are received. 5. Handling and storage
- Vials ship in protective packaging with tracking. Keep the original packaging and photograph any damage before contacting us.
- We store lyophilized vials cold and protected from light. Handle, store and dispose of every product according to your laboratory’s chemical-handling procedures and the regulations that apply to your institution.
- Safety data sheets are provided on request where available. Write to info@aveniobio.com with the product and lot number.
- Products are not to be transferred, resold or handed to anyone outside the purchasing laboratory or institution.
6. Marketing, content and partners
Our own content
Product pages, emails and social posts describe products by compound, amount, lot and documentation status. Educational material summarizes published preclinical literature and is not a statement about any product’s use.
Partners and ambassadors
Every referral code is tied to a named account and bound by the Partner & Ambassador Rules. A code used to make a claim we would not make ourselves is switched off, and non-compliant orders do not earn commission.
Disclosure
Partners must say that a code or link is a referral and that they may earn a commission. Sponsored or gifted content must be labelled as such on the platform where it appears.
7. Shipping and jurisdictions
- We ship to addresses within the United States only. U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses and freight-forwarder locations may be subject to additional verification or may not be eligible.
- Buyers are responsible for compliance with the federal, state, local and institutional rules that apply to receiving, storing and using research materials at their location.
- Orders are shipped with tracking from Richmond, Virginia. See the Shipping Policy for processing times and carriers.
8. Privacy, age screening and records
- An age and research-use screen appears before you enter the site. Its acceptance is remembered in your browser only.
- Order records include the research-use acknowledgement given at checkout, kept for the period described in the Privacy Policy.
- Cookies and analytics are described in the Cookie Notice.
9. Report a concern
Tell us if you see an Avenio Bio product described for personal use, a partner making a claim, a label problem, or a certificate you cannot verify with the laboratory.
